Pools

One of our goals – to prove that a pool is not just a classical rectangular-shaped place for bathing but it can also become a part of your interior or exterior as an art work which creates a very unique atmosphere. We see our every project both as a technically accurate work and as process which requires a lot of creativity: we professionally evaluate the places where pool is planned to install, we select the best and long-lasting materials and equipment and we suggest various options of finishing works.

There are few things that everyone should know about pools
There are two types of pools, subject to a location where it is planned to be installed: indoor and outdoor. Indoor pools are usually chosen by people who want to enjoy water entertainment a whole year when outdoor pool can be used only from early spring till the end of the summer. However, a season of outdoor pool can be extended by installing a telescopic enclosure over the pool.
“Poolpro” team understands that it is not always impossible to choose a suitable pool design from among ready-made. In this case, we suggest to install a customised pool – in that way we can create a bathing space that meets everyone’s individual needs and is suitable for any room and place. Besides, we can design and install optional water entertainment equipment in both cases to create a pool of your own dream!

Everyone, who is looking for pool, should know that a pool consists of a body (concrete, fibreglass, etc.) and technological equipment. The scope of supply of technological equipment is as follows:

  • Water filtration system;
  • Water disinfection system;
  • Water lighting system;
  • Water heating system;
  • Pool access equipment;
  • Water and air massage system;
  • Optional automatics;

Before choosing a pool, it is important to know that a utility room near the pool installation place should be allotted for technological equipment and inlets of water, electricity, heating and sewage to be installed. With a due regard to all of this, only thing is left to be done – to choose a skimmer or overflow type of the pool.

Skimmer–type pool (with skimmer on the pool wall)

Skimmer-type is usually chosen by people who have lower budget. This type of pool is cheaper than overflow-type because it requires less technological equipment.

It is important to know the key aspect of skimmer-type pool: water is collected to the filtration system through skimmer (water collector) which is mounted on the pool wall. A water level in the pool is 10-15 centimetres lower than a top of the pool wall. Also, this type of pool does not require a balance tank.

Overflow–type pool (with water drain in the ground level)

Today this type of pool is most modern – water level is equal to the maximum height of the pool wall so it looks much better than skimmer-type pool.

This type of pool costs more due to more sophisticated technology used. For the overflow-type balance tank, drain pipes, automatic water level control function has to be provided for that makes a price of the pool higher. Client has to decide what is more important – aesthetic view or price of the pool.

How does it work? As water level is at the same height as the height of the pool wall, water overflows through drain canal to the balance tank. After that circulation pump moves water to the filter where it is filtrated through special filter filling (sand, glass beads, etc.) and finally is pumped back to the pool.

Before pool installation, it is important to ask builders for an advice. They will help to decide which place is best for installing pool and give information on special soil. Based on this information, our specialists will select, design, and install your pool and its equipment.
