Vertical bathtub (therapeutic exercises in a deep pool) is one of the most effective procedure for the treatment of spinal inflammatory, degenerative – dystrophic diseases and their complications. From a technical point of view, it is the pool with its typical water circulation and cleaning system, which is adapted to the procedures of physiotherapy (healing movements) in water. In this pool special equipment is installed which has a healing effect on musculoskeletal, ligaments, bones and joint disorders. After the vertical bath procedure, the muscles and ligaments get stronger, the spine is enlarged, the movements become loose and much less painful, while the pain is often gone for good. Thanks to vertical bath treatments, the progression of spinal pathological processes, as well as the development of muscular atrophy, spinal deformities, are suspended. These pools are installed in health facilities, rehabilitation centres, and sanatoriums.
